After a successful football career at St. Helena College & Career Academy, running back Jeremy Griffin will suit up for Itasca Community College in Grand Rapids, Minnesota next fall.
“I would like to thank God for blessing me with another opportunity to play football once again,” Griffin Tweeted out on Thursday, January 18. “Also I would like to thank my family, my coaches, friends and teammates for pushing me to be good at this game we call football.”
Griffin will get a chance to try to provide offensive help to a team that finished with a 2-8 record last season. Griffin brings a winning mentality to the program and a shifty, but powerful, style into the run game.
Griffin has proved to be valuable in the red zone and known for a big play ability.
Itasca CC is a member of Region 13 in the National Junior College Athletic Association.
